Safari Drive-Through…

African Reserve…
Home to our herd of Southern white rhino and one of the parks most popular sights and experiences – the elegant giraffe. Not to mention the well known stripes of a zebra, migrating gnu, prized ankole cattle, ellipsen waterbuck swamp living red lechwe and the eland largest of all antelope species.

Wallaby Reserve…
Look out for our mob of white Bennett’s Wallaby, far from their home of Tasmania. Often also seen hiding here are some of Santas reindeer, resting before they visit the Discovery Trail during Santa Safari.

Wolf Woods…
Playing in the sunshine or sleeping in the dappled shade, this pack of North American wolves help protect an endangered area of heathland SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest).

Asian Reserve…
An area of contrasts from the enormous Asian water buffalo to the tiny anoa, the great samba deer to the dainty blackbuck and axis deer not forgetting of course the worlds rarest deer, the Philippine spotted deer, the endangered barasingha and or course the amazing armoured greater one horned rhino!

Bengal Tiger Reserve…
Tigers are the largest members of the cat family and are renowned for their power and strength. See the magnificent tigers kept here at the park.

Cheetah Plains…
Home to the world’s fastest land mammal, capable of reaching up to 70mph! See our the largest group of cheetah in the UK in the large natural enclosures.

African Wild Dog Reserve…
A stunning and clever predator. A must visit animal that is rarely seen. Visit this magnificent pack of African wild dogs at your own risk!

African Lion Reserve…
Home to the king of the jungle. Our 2 prides of lions are a magnificent sight, and the Kingdom of the White Lion holds the largest pride of white lions in the UK.

Eurasian Reserve…
Here you will see our two humped bactrian camels, rare and endangered Pere Davids deer, and the ever curious Nilgai and banteng.

Elephant Reserve…
As well as our herd of African elephants look out for the nimble barbary sheep as they hop from rock to rock on the hills.

Rides & Attractions:

Not just all the fun of the fair, with 26 rides and attractions there is something here to suit the whole family. Plummet 30m back to earth on Venom Tower Drop, get truly soaked on the £1m Wild River Rafting or Zambezi Water Splash or take it easy aboard the galloping zebras on the Congo Carousel ride. For your own little cubs, visit our Cubs Kingdom with 7 rides and attractions designed just for them!

The minimum height required to use thier rides is 0.8m and with thier colour coded easy to use height charts, it is really easy to find rides to suit you.

Multi-ride wristbands or ride tickets are available with special ‘family offer’ and discounts for concessions and Cubs Kingdom.

Thrill Rides

The Rides & Attractions area offers a whole variety of popular attractions for all ages, but for those of you who like a thrill or two, why not try plummeting 30m towards the earth, spinning high above the ground or round and round whilst swinging to and fro. Some of our rides are definitely not for the faint hearted!

Venom Tower Drop
Venom by name, venom by nature – the master of all terrors! Venom will transport you gradually onwards and upwards reaching the dizzy heights of 30m. Then you will fall from the sky in a flash!

Black Fly
Wow! This Black Fly is wild! Hold on tight – The Fly tries its very best to disorientate you and will astound you! Submit to its mighty power – and be prepared for an awesome ride! Great for thrill seekers!

Twister Coaster
Twister by name – twister by nature! Prepare to be zipped along: spun around and generally confused on this nippy little mover! Sudden turns and high speed spins, perhaps not one for Grandma!

Rhino Rollercoaster
We may think we have tamed this little beast, but Mr Rhino really is in a bit of a hurry! Hang on to him tightly as he weaves his way around the track. A rollercoaster for the family!

Wild River Rafting
The name says it all! You’ll be drifting along in the shallows one second and whizzing down and around the rapids the next! If you are ready for a good drenching, then come this way! Great family fun!

Zambezi Water Splash
If you love getting wet – then this is one for you! There’s great fun along the way too and a great water splash finale! A family favourite!

Pirate Ship
Ahoy there! All aboard this mighty machine. Pretend you’re on the high seas and riding the crest of the wave: you’ll need to be quick to get away from those pirates though!

Family Fun

With dozens of rides to choose from, there are rides suitable for all the family, young and not so young! From traditional rides of “all the fun of the fair” to a pirate ship and roller coasters, we have it all. The rides & attractions area wouldn’t be complete without games and an arcade – ours is packed with all your favourite amusement machines. Or maybe you would prefer to test your skills on the Dodgems, whizz down the slides or trundle along in the ghost train.

Jungle Cat Dodgems
Always a great attraction, you’ll need to be nifty and skilful in these natty little jungle cat cars. Watch out for learner drivers – they have a habit of creeping up on you!

Jumbo Parade
Nellie and her pals welcome you to join them for their family parade. They’ll sprint along and show off a little, but will let you take control of the reins, if you prefer. A classic family ride.

African Big Apple Coaster
Wriggle along in the jolly green caterpillar as it nibbles its way into the big red apple and nips back out again! A fun coaster for the kids!

Jungle Swings
Fancy getting your feet off the ground for a quick spin on this busy, dizzy one! After a couple of rides, Tarzan would be proud of you!

Dr Umboto’s Catacombs
It’s the dead of the night and this spooky castle is in total darkness. You will trundle along a winding track and be faced with all kinds of ghostly goings on! Ghoulishly great fun!

Rescue Rangers
Your mission is to get the blaze under control with the help of a brilliant water canon! Take aim and fire as this family fun ride spins around and around. Success is rewarded with lights galore. Go for it!

Congo Carousel
A carousel with a difference, choose your zebra and around you’ll go. Imagine you’re cantering across the plains of Africa. A classic family favourite!

Slippery Snake Slide
Just climb up the steps, jump into your sack and away you go! You’ll fly down and around with the greatest of speed. Real snakes and ladders!

Flying Lion Kings
Just to show that lions really can fly. Jump in, and as if in slow motion, you’ll take to the air before you can say Simba! An ideal treat!

Dune Dashers
On your marks, get set, go! Imagine you’re on the dunes, racing with your mates, when all of a sudden you bounce right into mid air! Great adventure for the kids!

Flying Pandas
Our pandas are gentle creatures, they won’t move too quickly or climb too high. What’s the betting you’ll want another try!

We just ‘Noah’ that kiddies are going to love this! Experience life on a gentle ocean wave as you are rocked backward and forward. Lovely for the little ones!
